Bernice R. Jones
Dr. Jones received her Ph.D. in Greek, Roman, and Ancient Near Eastern Art from the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University, specializing in Bronze Age Aegean interconnections. Her publications include her book, Ariadne’s Threads: The Construction and Significance of Clothes in the Aegean Bronze Age (2015) and many articles. She has taught and lectured widely on Minoan and Mycenaean dress and on her reconstructions of Aegean frescoes. Her costume replicas were recently exhibited at the National Archaeological Museum of Athens, the Herakleion Museum in Crete, the Hellenic Museum in Melbourne, Australia, and the Universities of Graz and Vienna, Austria.
