Sylviane Déderix
Sylviane Déderix (Ph.D., Université Catholique de Louvain, 2014) is a postdoctoral researcher of the F.R.S.-FNRS, a member of the Aegean Interdisciplinary Studies research group at Université Catholique de Louvain (Belgium), and a collaborator of the Laboratory of Geophysical–Satellite Remote Sensing and Archaeo-environment (I.M.S.-FORTH, Greece). In 2015–2016 she was a Fulbright fellow and a fellow of the Belgian American Educational Foundation in the School of Anthropology at the University of Arizona (United States). Her research interests include Aegean archaeology, funerary practices, landscape studies, social network analyses, and archaeological GIS. She is also involved in the excavation of the Bronze Age sites of Sissi (Crete) and Pyla-Kokkinokremos (Cyprus).
