J.W. Hanson

J. W. Hanson is a British Academy Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Reading. After completing his doctorate at the University of Oxford, he worked for the Social Reactors Project at the University of Colorado, Boulder. His research focuses on the urbanism, demography, and economy of the ancient world, using recent research on complex systems to shed new light on the built environment and socioeconomic conditions of Greek and Roman cities.
